Become a Part of the Little Star Day School Team!
Become part of our team and start your career as a childcare specialist at Little Star Day School. Little Star Day School has been providing quality early childhood education and childcare in Zurich, Zug, and Kilchberg since 2001.
If you have not yet completed an apprenticeship, you can also do a pre-study internship that will prepare you for the job and the apprenticeship. After completing this internship, you can then train to become a childcare specialist if you are suitable and interested. Candidates who wish to do a shortened apprenticeship are also welcome.
Trained specialists can then undergo further, additional training and train to become a vocational trainer or team leader. The Little Star Day School supports you in this process.

Our Daily Values at Work
Little Star Day School aims to provide innovative childcare solutions to children and their parents. Every team member plays an important role in achieving this goal. Together we can do this by following the values of Little Star Day School in our daily lives:
Respect
- We show respect for opinions and ideas of all employees.
- Daily communication is important and necessary for the exchange of information. We communicate respectfully with children, parents, and team members at all times.
Motivation
- Quality in daily care is achieved through our way of working, our appearance of the facility and the team, as well as the joint and individual commitment to overcoming challenges in daily care.
- Each team member assumes responsibility in their role. We support each other.
Confidence
- We inspire and support each other in order to create new and familiar things in the best possible way. The management style promotes the self-confidence of all employees, i.e. instructions and new subjects are communicated in a thorough and understandable manner.
- We trust that all our team members are able to perform optimally in their daily care and, if necessary, to solve problems. However, it is important that individual responsibility is taken until its conclusion. Problems are solved, not avoided.
Care
- The children, parents, and team members count on each of us. Each team member is aware of this and acts accordingly.
- We mutually respect the welfare of all and act accordingly to such needs.
Pride and Fulfillment!
Since 2001 we have accompanied young children in the foundational years of their lives and supported their parents in their everyday life. This is a challenging and very important task that fills us with pride and satisfaction!
