In our crèche area, lovingly called our "Nest", we have been creating a safe haven for over 20 years where your baby can make their first discoveries. The environment in our crèches is specially designed so that our youngest children feel comfortable and can develop through play, whilst being individually supported by key workers in small groups.
Particularly important to us is the gentle attunement to each individual child's needs. Whilst your baby explores the world at their own pace, our experienced educators ensure the perfect balance between secure safety and stimulating development – an approach with which we have been building trust with families in our crèches in Zurich & Zug for decades.

A crèche is the first place outside the family where your child is cared for regularly and lovingly – in a small, familiar group and supported by consistent key persons who truly know them. We welcome the littlest ones from as early as six months and allow every child exactly the pace that suits them and your family.
Many parents wonder at this stage whether a crèche or a childminder is the right path – both have their value, and both may feel right. What your child experiences at the crèche is growing up within a small community: they make their first friendships, learn from the other children, and feel secure even when a familiar face is occasionally absent, because there is always a loving team on hand.
With us, this time is far more than just childcare. Your child discovers the world at their own pace, gathers their first experiences of two languages quite naturally along the way, and is gently supported in everything they do.

Our specially developed Nappy Curriculum© forms the educational heart of our crèche in Zurich and Zug. It is based on the latest scientific insights and combines proven methods from Pikler and Montessori. At the centre is the trusting relationship with key workers, which gives your baby the security they need to explore their environment with curiosity.
The carefully designed rooms of our "Nest" follow our MyWorld© concept and specifically promote the following areas of development:
Diverse materials for touching, feeling and discovering stimulate all your baby's senses.
Through baby sign language, songs and picture books, we lay the foundation for language development and expression.
Stimulating movement activities promote both your child's gross and fine motor skills.
Secure attachments and gentle group experiences strengthen basic trust and emotional stability.
Our Little Star Bottle Bridge© is a unique offering that we have developed with great passion for breastfeeding mothers. As loving experts in caring for the littlest ones, we particularly want to support you and your baby. This way, you can leave your little star with us with a good feeling and be assured: your baby is in the very best hands with us.
Our years of experience have shown us how great the challenges can be for breastfeeding mothers. Especially when the moment comes to return to working life, you face such a personal decision: do you want to continue breastfeeding your child or not? Our empathetic baby specialists at the crèche in Zurich & Zug accompany you through this time and wholeheartedly support your very personal decision – whether that's to breastfeed, provide expressed breast milk or offer formula feeding.

Our MyDay© programme offers your baby a structured yet flexible daily routine that provides security whilst allowing space for individual needs. Here's what a typical day at our crèche might look like:

In their first months, a baby needs one thing above all: someone who is there entirely for them. That's why, with us, one consistent key person cares for no more than three of our littlest ones. This leaves plenty of time to hold each child, to understand their quiet signals and to share in all those little moments when they discover the world for the very first time.
Over time, this familiarity grows into trust. Your child knows who they belong to, who comforts them and who delights when they manage something for the first time. From this sense of security, they find the courage to explore the world around them – always returning to their key person whenever they need to.
For you as parents, this close ratio means one thing above all: you can leave your baby with us with complete peace of mind, knowing that someone is there to take wonderful care of your little star.
For the very littlest ones, the crèche is a whole new world – new smells, new voices, new arms to hold them. So that your baby can feel secure in it, we allow the settling-in process all the time it needs. You stay with your child during the early days, giving them the familiar anchor from which they can get to know the new surroundings step by step.
Because a baby still makes sense of their world through closeness, we take particular care. We learn how your child likes to be held, when they grow tired and what they need to fall asleep, and we coordinate closely with you on feeding and sleeping routines. The first brief separations follow only once your baby has found a familiar face in their key person – and grow gradually longer, always at the pace your child sets for us.
This transition is supported by a consistent key person who knows your baby from the very beginning and decides together with you when the time is right for the next step. In this way, from the very first days, your child gains a place where they feel secure – and you gain the reassurance of knowing they are in good hands.

"We'd like to thank every single member of your team who looked after our son with such warmth and care. We dropped him off with you each day feeling completely at ease, and that peace of mind is absolutely priceless! Thank you for everything!"
"Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for five wonderful years of care for both our children. It wasn't just childcare - it was affection, kindness, security and love. That meant the world to us. We're going to miss you all terribly. We are big fans of Little Star Day School."
"It was an absolute pleasure for our family to bring our daughter and son to Little Star, and they had the most wonderful time there. When our daughter first arrived at Little Star, she was far too shy to speak to anyone. By the time she left, she was chatting away confidently with teachers in both fluent English and German. Our son started when he was just a 10-month-old baby, and when he left at age 4, he'd grown into a bright, confident little boy - completely ready for school. Many thanks for all your brilliant work!"

We offer flexible care models from 2 to 5 days per week. You can choose between part-time and full-time care. Individual care hours are also possible upon request. Our family advisers work with you to create the optimal care model for your family situation.
Our all-inclusive concept includes educational care, all meals (breakfast, lunch, snacks), drinks, nappies, care products and bedding. You only need to bring spare clothes, dummies if needed and special food or breast milk when required. This way we ease your family routine and you can focus on what matters most.
Our unique programme supports breastfeeding mothers through specially trained baby specialists. We accommodate your feeding and nursing rhythm, handle expressed breast milk sensitively and offer spaces for nursing in our crèche when needed. Close communication between you and our carers ensures a gentle transition and continuation of the breastfeeding relationship.
A trusting educational partnership is particularly important to us in crèche care. In addition to daily handover conversations, we document your baby's meals, sleep times and special experiences. Regular development discussions give you insight into your child's progress. Through our digital parent app, you also receive regular photos and updates from daily crèche life.
Even at crèche age, we lay the foundation for natural bilingualism. Following the immersion principle "One Person – One Language", each member of staff consistently speaks in their native language (German or English) with the babies. This way, the littlest ones experience both languages in a natural context and associate them with specific people. Songs, finger games and simple picture books are offered in both languages.
