Become part of the Little Star Day School team!

Join our team and start your professional future as an Early Years Practitioner at Little Star Day School. Since 2001, Little Star Day School has been providing high-quality early childhood education and childcare in Zurich, Zug and Kilchberg.

If you don't yet have a qualification, you can also complete a placement or foundation programme that prepares you for the profession and training. Upon completion, you can then, with aptitude and interest, train as a qualified Early Years Practitioner. We also welcome candidates who would like to complete an accelerated training programme.

Qualified, experienced and committed professionals can undertake additional training and qualify as workplace trainers or team leaders. Little Star Day School supports you in this development.

The Foundation of Our Collaboration

Our Values in Daily Care Practice

Little Star Day School aims to offer children and their parents innovative solutions in childcare. Every team member plays an important role in achieving this goal. We can accomplish this together when we orientate ourselves by Little Star Day School's values in our daily practice:

Respect

We show respect for the opinions and ideas of all staff members.

Daily communication is important and necessary for information exchange. We communicate respectfully at all times with children, parents and team members.

Motivation

Quality in daily care is achieved through our working methods, the appearance of the facility and team, as well as the collective and individual commitment of each team member when facing challenges in daily care.

Each team member takes responsibility in their role. We support one another.

Self-confidence

We inspire and support each other to implement new and familiar approaches optimally. The leadership style promotes the self-confidence of all staff; i.e. instructions and new concepts are conveyed thoroughly and clearly.

We trust that all our team members can deliver optimal performance and problem-solving when needed in daily care practice. However, it's important that individual responsibility is taken through to completion. Problems are solved, not avoided.

Care

The children, their parents and team members count on each of us. Every team member is aware of this and acts accordingly.

We look out for everyone's wellbeing and act according to their needs.

Pride and Fulfilment!

Since 2001, we have been supporting young children during the important years of their lives whilst helping parents in their daily lives! This is a challenging and very important task that fills us with pride and satisfaction!
